Can anyone point me to the best method to accomplish this? My thinking right now is: erase drive and reinstall SL, restore from TM to last state before Mavericks upgrade, restore again using most recent image to pull select data (not sure how I'll know what to include/exclude). The goal is to preserve all my data, including everything I've generated in the few weeks I've been using Mavericks. iTunes 12 installed (will need to downgrade to 11, hopefully without losing my media and settings).Plenty of extra drive space if I need to make separate backups.Bootable USB installers for both Mavericks and Snow Leopard.A Time Machine backup that goes back a while, including before and since the upgrade.I've been through all the tips and reinstalls, some of which provided marginal improvements, but the computer is just not a usable tool any longer, so I want to go back to Snow Leopard. Visual C++ 9.I have an older Mac that I recently upgraded to Mavericks, thinking it was as far as I could reasonably take the machine without compromising performance.
